FAT TRAPS

The excess floating oil & grease requires regular pumping for disposal. BACTREAT-FT remediation of Fat Traps helps to speed up the speed of oil & grease degradation and eliminate bad odours particularly during the pumping of excess oil & grease.

Fat Traps are generally designed with a minimum of one hour hydraulic retention time during the peak flow. The dosing rate is based on the fat trap size, however should peak flow rate per hour be higher than the grease trap size, the dosing should be based on the peak flow rate volume.
